It’s sure to be considerably colder than today, and the Detroit Tigers will long have called it a season come December, but details surrounding the Sirius XM Hockeytown Winter Festival are taking shape at Comerica Park. Specifics of the two week hockey event including the first ever outdoor games in the history of the Ontario Hockey League were discussed at a Wednesday press conference at the home of the Detroit Tigers and information on seating is now available.
Tickets for the games pitting the Saginaw Spirit and the Windsor Spitfires and the Plymouth Whalers and the London Knights on December 29 will be 38, 28, and 18 dollars each. For Saginaw Spirit Season Ticket Holders and Corporate Sponsors, a presale will be conducted from July 15 until August 1st at which time those individuals and companies can secure their seats. Tickets for the general public in the Great Lakes Bay Region will then go on sale on August 1st, but in the meantime, those interested can put their names on a waiting list and will be catered to after the presale.
