Game On! Spirit Host Playoff Positioning Clash Against Storm Today at 4:00 PM

The Saginaw Spirit host the Guelph Storm today at 4:00 PM!  The Spirit enter the contest in seventh place in the OHL Western Conference with 66 points, while the Storm are four points behind in eighth place. 

The playoff positioning battle continues to heat up with Saginaw's main competition also playing today. The ninth place Owen Sound Attack are currently on the outside looking in on the playoff front, but with 61 points they are only a few points away from the Storm.  The Attack play the Brampton Battalion today in Brampton.  The fifth place Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds enter today with 69 points and a match-up against the London Knights, while the sixth place Erie Otters with 69 points host the Kitchener Rangers.

Tickets are on sale now for Sunday's 4:00 PM game between the Spirit and the Otters!  The two teams will hit the ice about the same time as Team USA and Team Canada face off for Olympic gold - fans won't miss any of the action with the gold medal game being aired in its entirety in the Bud Light Blue Line Club as well as on the center ice video board throughout the game.

The Spirit game also features a post-game skate with the players event, presented by the Garber Automotive Group!  It's free for everyone in attendance - and skates are required to go on the ice!
